Investment Approach

The Victory Short-Term Fixed Income Strategy seeks to provide high current income consistent with the preservation of principal. The principal investment approach is to invest at least 80% of assets in a broad range of investment-grade debt securities that have a dollar-weighted average portfolio maturity of 3 years or less. 

Philosophy & Process

The Victory Short-Term Fixed Income Strategy seeks to build, bond-by-bond, a yield-focused portfolio to generate strong total returns while keeping the dollar-weighted maturity to 3 years or less. The Strategy invests primarily in U.S. dollar-denominated debt securities including obligations of the U.S., state, and local governments, their agencies and instrumentalities, mortgage- and asset-backed securities, corporate debt securities, repurchase agreements, and other securities believed to have debt-like characteristics. The Strategy may invest up to 10% of assets in below investment-grade securities and up to 20% of assets in foreign debt securities.
